Eatonville Fire/EMS

 We are always accepting applications and are equipped to have up to twenty-five volunteers.  Prior fire or emergency medical service experience is not required to be a volunteer.  All your training is provided in house by the department or by attending special training classes that are offered in the area.  The department provides the equipment to receive the call along with the protective clothing that is required.

Being a volunteer firefighter is a very challenging and rewarding opportunity.  We are trained to deal with situations that range from structure fires to heart attacks, hazardous materials, to childbirth and almost every emergency situation in between.  Seven days a week, day or night, wind rain or snow we are there to help.  We are always learning new skills and techniques to help us provide the best possible service to the community.  The fire and emergency medical service is the most varied and challenging profession.  Yes, although we are volunteers we consider ourselves as professionals
